Dr. Richard Jiang is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the School of Computing and Communications at 四虎影院, UK. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a Member of the EPSRC Peer Review College. His research spans a broad range of topics in Artificial Intelligence, Neurocomputing, and Natural Computing, including Ethical AI, Privacy Computing, Quantum AI, Quantum Cryptography, and Medical Computing.

Dr. Jiang's research has received support from grants provided by EPSRC, the Leverhulme Trust, and other industry and international sources, totaling over ?1 million in research funding. In his recent work, he pioneered secure pattern recognition in encrypted domains through a novel approach introducing many-manifold learning, which enables effective detection of patterns in high-dimensional chaotic signals. He has also made significant advances in quantum neuromorphic computing, developing innovative single-qubit methods to enable neural computing models on NISQ devices. In medical computing, he invented the Face2Brain method for non-invasive neurodegenerative assessment and developed explainable precision models to analyze brain ageing, offering new insights into cognitive computing processes.

Dr Jiang has supervised and co-supervised more than 20 PhD researchers, including over 10 who have successfully completed their PhDs. Dr. Jiang has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and served as an editor for several books and special issues. He is also an active contributor to the academic community, serving on Program Committees, Editorial Boards, and as a reviewer for various international conferences and research journals.
